There are lots of varieties of vampires. Anne Rice, Brust, Laurell Hamilton
and Buffy vampires don't. Some of them like their victims terrified; more
funny chemicals in the blood. There might be some novel with vampires being
sensitive to type. There wouldn't be anything stopping you from writing one.
