I, too loved A Little Princess as well as Beauty (I finally have my own
copy.) The book that I was so afraid to lose sight of was Drujienna's
Harp by Ellen Kindt McKenzie. Our library had the only copy that I've
ever seen. I tried a book search and found only one- with dust jacket-
for umpteen dollars. I didn't suppose they would do a reprint since it
was written back in 1971.
I was so lucky to have caught our librarians pulling it from the shelf
to discard! Actually, I had BEGGED them to let me know if they ever
pulled it. Has anyone else out there ever read it?
