The Brother Cadfael mysteries were turned into a series by PBS. I've only
seen some of them, but I think you can rent them from Blockbuster (accent on
"I think"). My favorite's Caroline Llewellyn, who writes mostly about
mysteries in Italy, but her books are usually hard to find. She reminds me a
little of Robin McKinley, but I don't know why....
