McKinley: new book/author

I just read a new author I'd never seen before, Gregory Maguire. I read his
second book, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, about the cinderella story. It
kind of has the tone of Deerskin and Zel. He has also written one called
"Wicked: the life and times of the wicked witch of the west" that I'm going to
look for.

Guess what I got for Xmas? A HC copy of Beauty! Now I have one of both
versions! <grinning, ducking, running>
