you mentioned Garth Nix...he came out with a new series: The Seventh Tower.
The first book is called The Fall...it's great...i'm going tommorrow to get
the second book. Tamora Pierce has three series if you haven't read them
already...the first is called "The Lioness" (i think)...the second is "Wild
Magic" and the thrid is a new one "Protector of the Small". they're all
interconnected...and great...
