as robin is, of course, an advocate of "girls who do things," i thought i'd
mention this to y'all: i just discovered a book called _the hungry ocean_
written by linda greenlaw, the world's only female swordfish-boat captain. i
haven't finished it yet, but so far it's a really great book (better than
sebastian junger's _the perfect storm_, in my opinion, though i can't wait
for that movie to come out this summer:) anyway, greenlaw is a gifted writer
(she was an english major in college) and her memoirs are exciting, humorous,
and fascinating to anyone who loves the ocean. hope some of y'all will check
it out!

take care,
cameron
