How can you make sure sites are sharing accurate information? I don't
see much of an incentive to be honest about which banners produced the
most clickthroughs. In fact if the agents are competing, they may prefer
to give out false and misleading information in order to make competitors
less effective.

With a large enough market economy, actors have an incentive to tell the
truth about their decisions to buy and sell. But it may not be so easy
to get them to honestly reveal more information about their preferences.
