Years ago I saw an art display of experimental holography, presumably way
superannuated by now; there was a room-sized window with an entire living
room visible behind it. The problem was *speckle* all through the empty
air. I understood that this was an inevitable side-consequence of laser
light passing through the air? the dust particles in the air? Unless
that's been solved, hollyvision is in trouble.
