hello! (sorry if i've already asked this before and forgotten) in madeleine
l'engle's book _a house like a lotus_ she refers to a sculpture called "the
laughing christ of baki" - the people of baki had a statue, hundreds of
years old, of a man laughing, and when the missionaries came, the bakians
came to believe that this statue was a representation of christ - so i was
just wondering, does anyone know where i can find a picture(in a book or on
the net) of "the laughing christ of baki"? thanks!
take care,
cameron
