hey all, i just finished the book...andddddddd it's not so great! i wrote the
message about it being so good when i was around the middle of it, when there
was a lot of excitement w/ hatsumomo et al. the book seemed to go downhill
once sayuri began to succeed and hatsumomo couldn't do anything about it...and
when they got rid of hatsumomo, the entire thing became boring without a
proper villain (hehehe). there was one mild jolt when pumpkin betrayed
sayuri, yet the ending w/ sayuri having the chairman as her danna was just
disappointing. i thought nobu was cool! the chairman seems to wishy-washy.
right now i'm in the middle of "daughter of fortune" by isabel allende. it's
good, you guys should check it out.
