Felicitations and salutations, all!
I agree wholeheartedly about Diana Wynne Jones. I haven't gotten my hands
on many of her books, and those all for children, but they're terrific
nonetheless. "The Lives of Christopher Chant" is definitely my favorite;
it's the first of a trilogy, if I recall correctly. Both of the cats I've
gotten since I read it have had "Throgmorton" in their names, I was so
enchanted by that nasty old beast!
