McKinley: deep space nine

in light of the fact that "deep space nine" is robin's favorite tv show(or
at least it was in 1997 at the time of filming her "good conversations: a
talk with robin mckinley" video), does anyone know if deep space nine is
still producing new episodes or is it just in reruns now? when/where does
it come on? how does it compare to star trek, the next generation? any
other opinions about the show?
