"the right order"
As a newcomer to this site I became interested in the discussion about which book to read first. When I was young I originally read them in the order that they were written. I am now in the process of re-reading them and doing so in the opposite order. I agree that you get a different view of Aerin in "Hero" from what you expect out of "sword" but that's what made it great. We wouldn't want a boring old basic hero. Having now read them (almost) in opposite order I find that it makes little difference which order as the books are almost completely seperate stories. At least that's how I read them.
