Deerskin and Damar
I've been doing a lot of thinking about whether or not this story takes place in Damar or not. I believe it does based on the references to ootag, yerig, Aerin and Maur. Also, there is the mention that Lissar's eyes changed from green to yellow when she was confronting her father and therefore possibly under the grip of kelar, as that is what happens to the eyes of those with kelar. When they utilize their powers, their eyes turn yellow and as the power fades the eyes change back. Which is exactly what happens to poor Lissar and Ossin sees when he catches up to her in the grove.
