Wow... I finally finished Outlaws of Sherwood,
and was not disappointed at all. Of all the
versions of Robin Hood that I have ever
seen/read/heard of, this places high above them
all! It was moving, funny, dramatic, and tense
all at once. I had never heard of Cecily before
this book, so I think she made be a creation of
Robin's. I really enjoyed Robin's notes at the
end of the novel, and her modesty amused me a
great deal. She really acknowledges questions
the reader may have and addresses them. A
must-read for anyone who hasn't, and a re-read
for anyone else!
