There are many good retellings of fairy tales out there (although few as good as Robin's...) Try "Zel" by Donna Jo Napoli (a bit like Deerskin, but less dark), The Glass Slipper by Eleanor Farjeon, and of course, Robin's own The Outlaws of Sherwood (not exactly a fairy tale, but...) If you run into any really good ones, please share!
