Wildly Enthusiastic Book Recommendation
I read the *best* book over this past weekend -- well, actually over Sunday, since I started it and couldn't put it down. It's called "Fire and Hemlock" by Diana Wynne Jones, it uses fairy tale themes (specifically Tam Lin/Thomas the Rhymer), and it is just simply excellent...a mystery, a romance, a growing-up novel and great fantasy all rolled in together. It's out of print, but this is worth combing the libraries and going through interlibrary loan or whatever -- it's the first book I've been obsessed with (meaning I pick it up whenever I'm in its vicinity) since finishing "Hero" -- was it only one Christmas ago? Wow. Anyway, check it out (literally)!!!
