How about Sean Connery as Aerin's Father?
I could see Sean Connery playing Aerin's father.
This would lend a big name to the picture and
then no-name actors could play all the others.
Connery is real good at emotional death scenes.
Who was that kid who played in that short-lived
series RoAR? He was kinda cute.
