I consider Steven Brust to
be a very good storyteller, particularly of SF, which is largely what he
writes. I've been prompted to create this page to summarize his work
and answer FAQs. Suggestions and advice are of course welcome.

Those wacky animals.
-
The Cycle of Dragaera.
-
Some of my impromptu speculation on how the Cycle works.
-
Two biographies. One by Samantha Star Straf,
another by Fred A. Levy Haskell.
-
Other notes.
- On Piarra,
the RPG setting Dragaera came from.
-
Steven Brust's own home
page. -- 10 Dec 2002: note if you don't have Javascript enabled you'll have to
click on the logo to see something useful. One of those dumb redirects.
- Cracks and
Shards -- great site. Various observations on Dragaera: tables of contents,
inconsistencies, other details. Lots of other details. Timekeeping,
differences between Houses.
-
A Timeline of Dragaera
-- from Alexx Kay. Has other notes and speculations as well, including a
highly interesting list of references to Vlad-adventures we haven't seen.
- Small Invisible
Lights -- from I don't know their real name. Has Thomas Yan's "Distracted
by Shadows" posts from Usenet, which I'd saved but hadn't put on my site yet,
and cites Dzurlord for the location of the Great Sea of Chaos.

Kesinger's Dragaera page -- what used to be the other major page. Similar
completist attitude as this one, but limited to Dragaera. Dramatis Personae
and pictures. More cover scans. Hasn't been updated since before the
publication of Dragon, though.

- Brust has been interviewed in Dragon Magazine #222, and AD&D stats
for Vlad and Loiosh are given in #220. Or so I'm told; I've never seen
these issues myself. 17 March update: I have a copy of the interview, sent
by Eldon the Seer. Not sure what to do about it yet.
Give me ideas!
