McKinley: weird words?

hi! before everybody(including me) gets into obsessing over _spindle's end_,
i have a completely unrelated question: my friend matt and i have an ongoing
competition to see who can come up with the weirdest, little known words(they
have to be "real" words) - examples include words such as "poemagogic" -
something that both sparks and symbolizes the creative process; "nympholepsy"
- a frenzy induced by seeing nymphs; and "sesquipedalian" - given to using
long words!:) so you see the kind of weird words i'm looking for... does
anyone know any weird words like these that i could use to stump my friend?
or better yet, does anyone know of any books devoted to the the etymologies
of weird words...?

thanks,
cameron
