in response to your question about pronunciations...i myself would
pronounce the words you wrote about as follows :

Damar-- day-mar
Damarian-- duhmarian
Luthe-- looth
Maur-- mar
Sol-- sahl

hope this helps...personally i think most people use whatever
pronunciations that sound right to them...
