Hiya! Um, quick introduction. My name is Diana, but I go by R. : ) I
read Beauty in the fifth grade and I've been hooked ever since! Now,
about "Soliloquy in the Spanish Cloister". It's a poem by Browing, one
of his humourous soliloquies, like "My Last Duchess". It's a fun read.
When I read it, I can even hear the Beast in the back of my head, with
his sly interpretation of the poem. : ) I've also read "How They
Brought the News from Ghent to Aix". I can't remember who it's by just
now. I got confused while searching for it, though, since there seems
to be a parody of that very poem. I'm not quite sure where the humor is
in "How They Brought the News"; in fact, I'm not quite sure if I even
read the correct poem or not. If I ever remember the poet, I'll let you
know! : )
