Allusions in Newbery speech

"Caddie Woodlawn" is by Carol Ryrie Brink; it won the Newbery a lo-o-ng time ago. I recognize the name P.C. Wren but I've never read anything by that author. As for the Baroness d'Orsay, I think that's the name of a fairy-tale author, but I can't check it right now -- Robin might also mean the Baroness Orczy, who wrote the wonderful "Scarlet Pimpernel" (a darn good swashbuckling romance, and an easy read, if you're in the mood).
