RD: Don't expect another _Beauty_
I just finished Rose Daughter, and I absolutely loved it! But for those of you who enjoyed the "old-fashioned happy ending" of Beauty, don't expect that from RD. The romance in this one (my favorite thing in both books) is not the traditional fairy tale kind, but more the kind that makes you sit back and go "Awwww! How sweet!" I think I prefer Beauty's telling the story in Beauty. And the family's ruin in RD is portrayed much more realistically. I didn't like what Robin did name-wise in RD, though. The books are both good, but in totally different ways. Expect to be VERY surprised by RD!!!!
