That's a good question, as very few version
actually name the prince once released from
beast form. Beauty might have named him
Hephaestus, after the Greek god. He was the
strongest and forged Zeus' thunderbolts. He
was 'deformed', though, and lame. Aphrodite
was married to him as a form of punishment,
actually. This is all from ancient memory of
school notes, though, so if I'm wrong, please
don't hesitate to correct me on any of this.
But Beauty might have just given him a name she
liked, to avoid insult.
