it's back!
for anyone who was having trouble finding _Door_ in bookstores:
when i tried to order it from Barnes & Noble in march, they told me it was out of print. last night, as i was checking the Robin books (i do this every time i go there, even though i now own all of them except _Imaginary Lands_, which i still haven't found.) guess what was there! and with a new cover (or at least one i hadn't seen before)! it is apparently back in print, so if you couldn't find it before, you should be able to now.
