Boy do I know what you mean! It takes me a long
time to find Ms. McKinley's books! Depending on
where you live, you should try as hard as you can
to find small bookstores which carry "odd" books,
meaning books you don't usually find anywhere
else! I live near Ottawa (Canada) and one
bookstore at a local mall has carried Robin
McKinley's books for a long time. They are not
publicized, nor are they well known. Smaller
chains tend to carry books that I'm looking for,
rather than big chains who think that young adult
means Babysitters Club and R.L. Stine books for
kids. The sooner you locate small chains, the
sooner you'll find Robin McKinley's books. Hope
