literary refs in robin's acceptance speech
i always flattered myself i was "well-read" until i read/listened to robin's newbury(sp?) award acceptance speech for _hero_ - does anyone know what books she's referring to with the dozen or so fictional characters she mentions in her speech?(i caught a few such as the count of monte cristo and the lord of the rings, of course - i guess it would help if i posted the characters' names for those people who haven't read/heard her speech, but right now i'm
too lazy and too scared of getting lost in the library to go find it).
