Rose Daughter??? and other faerie tales

First time browsing this site and first time that I've heard of "Rose Daughter". I am relieved to find so many other fans of Robin McKinley! Now that I have been alerted to the existence of the new book, I will look for it frantically. I first read Beauty when I was 12, which was, believe it or not, 16 years ago. Since then, I have read all of her works over and over again and enjoyed them more each time. For those looking for other faerie tale retellings, try "Winter Rose" by Patricia McKillip, which is a new version of Thomas the Rhymer or Tam Lin. There are also some darker and more disturbing adult faerie tale compilations edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling. These start with "Snow White, Blood Red", but are not for everyone. I'll check back as soon as I've read the new book to read your opinions.
