I read Hero first
I read the Hero and the Crown first. I'm one of the people in the minority who really liked Blue Sword and liked it MUCH better than Hero and the Crown.
I loved the characters of Harry and Corlath, finding them more more human and likeable. Aerin was a trifle too 'something' for me. Reading the books in that order didn't really affect my perception of things in the long run. At least I don't think so. =)
