Risai's back was propped up by a pillow.
" Do you feel any pain?"
Risai finally knew that the female servant asking this question had a pretty strange name called Suzu (鈴). At the end, Risai hadn’t met Kei-ou at all. She couldn’t meet Kei-ou even last time, because she fell asleep again when the doctor was treating her.
After that, Risai had awaken a couple of times, but the doctor said she couldn't meet Kei-ou yet. It was today, two days later, that the doctor lifted the ban.

"...for giving you so much trouble."
She hadn't moved her upper body for a long time. Her body was weaker than she thought, and even sitting up with the help of a pillow made her pant. The doctor forbade her from getting out of bed. Therefore, she had to meet her guests in her bedroom.

Suzu cleaned Risai's face, tidied her hair, and helped her wear a thin outerwear. This servant seemed to be the only one assigned to take care of Risai. It might be that Kei-ou had just ascended to the throne, and there was a lack of labor in the palace. Or it might be that Kei-ou didn't trust Risai at all, and only limited to one servant just in case Risai revealed her true intentions.

After Risai's appearance was tidied, three guests entered. The first person to step into the bedroom and sit down beside Risai had the unforgettable fiery red hair. --It was Youko the Empress of Kei.

"... How do you feel?"
" Thanks for your concern, I seem to have survived. May I express my heartfelt gratitude. Upon being bestowed such unworthy concerns, I beg for your pardon on my blemishing your majesty with such outrageous behavior and appearance."

"Please do not be bothered by such things. I believe you pained a lot in your heart, but now the highest priority is on recovery. We will help in all means to help you recover. If you need anything, please tell us without hesitation."
