AltInst: Pitching Alternative Institutions

I'm forwarding the following message to this
particular list, even though I'm guessing that those
who sent it probably didn't want it spread very broadly.
So I'm asking that you not forward it publicly beyond
this list.

This looks like a great chance to get more publicity
for alternative institution ideas.
